Ray Cunneen

Rule 9 Legal Intern

Hi, my name is Ray Cunneen. I was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri. I’m a small-town kid with big-city dreams. I always knew I wanted to help others. From a young age, I found that my struggles with racism and generational poverty gave me the strength and experience to connect with others, to hold my head high, and to find ways to make this world a better place.

At 20, I joined the Army as a Cavalry Scout. I spent over four years on active duty, stationed at Fort Lewis, with one tour to Afghanistan. After leaving the military, I returned to school and graduated in 2020 with a BA in Human Services. I am in my last year of law school at the University of Missouri and will graduate in the spring of 2025.

I am married to my beautiful wife, Danielle, and we have three beautiful children. We look forward to raising our children in the amazing Pacific Northwest. I also look forward to helping the people of our community, building a brighter future for my family and yours, and holding others accountable for their conduct.
